Rob Lay
President
Prior to starting ARi, Rob managed the design and development of the Composium, an Emmy award winning digitial video editing tool, for Digital F/X. He was also vice president of Video Research and Design at DroidWorks, a division of LucasFilm, where he managed the software development of post-production editng tools. Rob joined LucasFilm with expertised gained from designing the CMX 3400 for CMX Systems. The CMX 3400 set the world standard for video editing.
In the area of film making, Rob received awards for his direction and production of several films and videos. Back from the Edge won Best Documentary by the American Motion Picture Society in 1990. Rob also has an advanced degree in psychology which is evident in the deep character development within "A Fork in the Tale".
Michael Solomon

Michael Solomon joined ARi as chairman of the board in late 1994. He is a successful entrepreneur from the software industry with business management, marketing and distribution experience. He has served as CEO, sales and marketing executive, and founder of a series of companies including Aldus Corporation, the creator of desktop publishing, Light Source Computer Images, and others.
